Forum: where are we with Amoris Laetitia?

 

From 9 to 12 June 2021, the Forum "Where are we with Amoris Laetitia?” organized by the Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life will take place. Strategies for the implementation of the apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis.

The meeting will take place with those in charge of the offices of family pastoral care, Episcopal Conferences, ecclesial movements and international family associations.

The Pope instituted the ministry of catechist.

 

The Motu proprio of Pope Francis "Antiquum ministerium", with which Pope Francis establishes the lay ministry of catechist, was published on Tuesday, May 11, 2021. He presents this ministry as an emergency for the evangelization of the contemporary world.

"Fidelity to the past and responsibility for the present are  the essential conditions for the Church to be able to accomplish its mission in the world: this is what Pope Francis writes in the Motu proprio  Antiquum ministerium  - liturgical memorial of St. John of Avila, priest and doctor of the Church - with which he institutes the lay ministry of catechist.
