In November 2024, a Zoom meeting was held with members of the Executive Committee to meet Jairo Morales, the recently elected new continental coordinator for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Zoom meeting on October 15, 2025, between Jairo, Ana María Vivérn, provisional president of the movement in Argentina, Stella Maris, VA representative to the Argentine Bishops' Conference, and the members of the VMI Executive Committee aimed to take stock one year later of the situation of the coordination, which includes the following countries: Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, and Peru.
