WE LIVE WITH JESUS, WHO ROSE FROM THE DEAD
We see that many men, women, and children suffer cruelly in their lives! The causes of this suffering are diverse and numerous.
However, a great deal stems from the behaviour of humankind itself.
The spirit of "evil" is always at work. With Jesus, we fight it. For "evil" is not only in others, it is also within us. Hence the need to always work on our conversion.
We sometimes encounter people who are discouraged and, as the saying goes, "at their wits' end." Organizations, wonderful individuals, and we ourselves do what we can to help them.
In a context different from our own, Jesus encountered and fought against this misery and suffering.
Moreover, he himself suffered unjustly without resorting to revenge and violence.
What Jesus endured was the consequence of human sin. He went to the very end of his strength and died for it. Trusting in the complete love of his Father, Jesus rose again.
God's love always triumphs over sin and death. This is the faith we celebrate during Holy Week and the Easter Vigil.
Brothers and sisters, let us support one another in prayer and faith.
Jesus inspires our perseverance.
Happy Easter!
