The year 2021, Year of Saint Joseph

Father Gregory  Mashtaki, spiritual advisor for English-speaking Africa invites us to meditate on the figure of Saint Joseph, under whose patronage the year 2021 is placed

For the month of August, the theme chosen is as follows: Saint Joseph and the elderly as agents of evangelization in the Church and in the Society.

From Pope Francis (With a father's heart): "I would like – as Jesus says – ''that the mouth expresses what overflows from the heart'' to share with you some personal reflections on this extraordinary figure so close to the human condition of each of us. This desire has matured during these months of pandemic during which we can experience in the midst of the crisis that is hitting us, that our "lives are woven and supported by ordinary people, often forgotten, who do not appear on the front page of newspapers and magazines or in the great parades of the last  show  but who, without a doubt, are writing the decisive events of our history:  doctors and nurses... priests, nuns and so many others who have understood that no one helps himself alone."
