May this letter bring you my very cordial greeting; I am happy to meet you for this eighth  meeting of the year, the ninth, in fact, if we add the special newsletter published on the occasion of the feast of All Saints.

We share the news of our LAI family spread around the world; and as in any family we share the events that mark the lives of our groups: October 1st, World Day of the Elderly, the pope's visit to Mauritius, the French Movement celebrating a Norman priest, Blessed Desire Laval, the Church's call to take into account the hardship of migrants.

As in any family we share moments of happiness: Father José Vanden Putte who signs a beautiful text "Face of God", celebrates in this year his priestly jubilee (50 years of priesthood): On behalf of LAI, the Executive Committee and all the members of our movement, I send him our very sincere congratulations. We join his joy, that of his family and friends in Belgium. Let's give thanks for this magnificent trajectory.
